my friend punk-eke told me the other day,
that all she wanted for this winter
was a bike.
But with her, it can't just be a simple bike. it has to be one of those cute little retro bikes
on which she'll ride wearing a little sun dress
with a little basket full of flowers.
(yes, it's all very little with her and not so punky i know) :)
and you'll see her with her bike at the manzanares' riverside and you'll think of Paris, and Yann Tiersen and those bohemian parisiennes you always love-hate.
But then you'll think you can look like that too
you'll get on the bike, your hair will get stuck in the flowers, your glasses will fall off, you'll drop the bike and break your knee.
yes. i'm talking about me.
and that's why i'll end up riding with a helmet, reflecting vest, jeans and ugly boots,
'cause, there's people that can, and people that simply can't.
i already have accepted it.

y se te engancha el pelo con las flores, las gafas se te caen y te dejas la rodilla en el asfalto.
Y a la siguiente acabas con el casco, el chaleco reflectante, los vaqueros viejos y las deportivas feas.
y eso, señores, es porque hay gente que puede y gente que no.
